French Quarter Bride { New Orleans Portrait Photographer }

February 27th, 2013 | Bridal

This little lady chose to do her Bridal session in the French Quarter because it is special to her family. Here a couple photos from her session, this isn’t her actual wedding dress so I can show these without worrying about the groom seeing them.

Mark & Kayce { South Louisiana Wedding Photographer }

December 26th, 2012 | Wedding

It has been so long since I blogged, that it took about 6 tries for me to get my password correct so I could log in! Shame Shame.

Kayce and Mark’s wedding was pretty much a fairytale wedding, and to impress you even more, they pulled this off with only a few months to prepare.

The wedding was held on the back of Mark’s parent’s property in Cut-off Louisiana, under the oak trees where he played as a child. The amazing wedding Coordinator Britany of Southern Knots and Events had her work cut out for her, from what I understand there was no running water or electricity out there and she made this all happen out in the middle of a field pretty much.

Here is a list of some of the amazing vendors.

Photography: Amy Martin Photography ( second shooter Mike Lirette )

Coordinator: Southern Knots & Events

Band: Groovy7

Rentals (tents, lighting etc): Event Rentals

Videographer: BrideFilm

Catering: Cashio’s Mobile Catering

Cake: Chicken Scratch

Florist: Brandon Branch

The awesome wedding coordinators taking a turn in the photobooth.

Breigh & Adam { South Louisiana Wedding Photographer }

August 27th, 2012 | Wedding

Two of my favorite people in the world got hitched last November!

Venue: Destrehan Plantation

Florist: Benjamin Heroman

The couple chose to do first look. These are the moments they first saw each other.

I had to give the bride a ride up to the ceremony area.

Breigh’s mom has been in the Antique business for a long time, they decorated every inch of the barn and added personal touches like old family photographs! They worked so hard and the results were amazing.

The couple put together a photobooth full of props, it was a hit.

My daughter Ava was one of the flower girls, here she is getting a lift from the super tall groom.

Fort Morgan, AL Wedding { Destination Wedding Photographer }

June 12th, 2012 | Wedding

I packed my bags, my assistant and a few friends to head to the beach last weekend. Little did I know, it must have been monsoon season in Fort Morgan. We literally had about 2 hours on the beach Friday and that is it out  of 4 days! Saturday, the day of the wedding, it poured and poured with no end in sight. Forcing the beach wedding to take cover under the patio of the beach house. With alot of prayer and cooperation from mother nature the rain stopped about one hour before the wedding and they were able to move everything out to the beach. These people have alot of pull with the man upstairs! I am so happy things turned out the way they did. I would rather it have rained my entire “work vacation” than to have shot the wedding in the rain under a beach house.

Congrats to Collin & Lindsay. Thank you so much for trusting me for your wedding, I cannot wait to share more.
