How adorable is this family?

Love this family photo!

First things First…. I know the date says the 12th but really it is after midnight and I haven’t been to sleep yet. Sooooooo technically this counts as Wednesdays post, which means… THREE DAYS IN A ROW!!! I’m on a roll!

I met this sweet family on an assignment for Baton Rouge Parents Magazine. There is an article on adoption and this family shared their story. The love this family has for this adorable little girl is amazing. You can tell that she has them wrapped around that tiny finger and who could blame them look how cute she is! This is my absolute favorite from their session

I want to take her home! I offered to trade them one of mine…

What a blessing it is to open your home to a child and love them as your own.

How cute is this little one! She is one of the best 2 year olds I have photographed in a while. Usually it is “mostly” back of the heads shots and running shots, but she did GREAT. I will follow this post up with some more photos from this session.

Cute story… These two fist exchanged phone numbers at his sister’s wedding that I shot. Even funnier, I remember when his mom and sister were at the studio ordering their albums and they both chose a photo that had these two in the background, and said I hope they stay together because they are in the wedding album together….. and yes they did  

When I asked Ashlee what she had in mind for the photos, she said she trusted my judgement, but that she didn’t like lots of girly stuff or flowers.Something a little more vintagey (did I just make up a word?). So on my way out I remembered my friend had this awesome bike. I swung by and got it and well, you will see it in a few of the pictures. I think it made the photo-session.

This family was so precious! I don’t know how to describe it, there was just such a sweetness about them. Little Miss Priss was just not interested in sitting still… as is the case with all 2 yr olds. She is such a cutie and no wonder, look at her beautiful parents!

This first picture is to depict the shame of me being such a slacker with the blog…. Soooooo here is a big catch up.

Funy Story: This little Kiddo’s mom is one of the most PC people I know and is a good friend of mine….. after her announcements were all mailed out and I decided to post these pictures I noticed that the little guy was showing what he really thought about our photosession with his left hand…. luckily due to “trimming space” that little finger was cropped out of the announcement.

How gorgeous is this girl… I will post some more from her session but here are a couple. We had a great time!! And I want to steal her grandmother and call her my own.
