I love this little girl. I have been photographing her for a very long time. She is used to being in front of the camera. This time I met her and her family out at the beach. It was hot, It was humid, it was sandy……. this picture was taken at the end of the session after I already said “ok…. one more” ……for the 5th time  I LOVE this picture and not just bc she is accidentally giving me the bird. Her mom *may* KILL me for posting this. But I think she will get over it being that it is an absolutely beautiful picture of mom and daughter…. Smiles are overrated.

Here are some more pictures from my first session at the beach last week. The beach couldn't have looked better, the water was SOOO blue and there was lots seaweed and other little treasures the ocean Gods decided to leave us. I thought that it added lots of character to the pictures. We had so much fun at this session! almost everyone in  the family (all 15) were pretty much soaking wet by the time we left, with no complaints.

This is one of my favorites, just because it is so spontaneous, The plane flew over us and she looked, it was really natural not look the other way "forced natural"

How cute is this little guy he is the only boy and has 3 sisters. I dont know if he is spoiled or tortured!

Have I mentioned that I like the beach? After fridays episode with an all day layout and no sunscreen it would seem likely that I would want to retract that statement, but no such luck. Even though I look like a red umpa loompa and my face is so leathery that it feels like a forgot to wipe off a face mask, I still can’t wait until my next trip, though I may hide behind an enormous straw hat.

These two kiddos are 2 of my favorites. They are just the cutest things ever, you can’t see thier faces here so you will have to just trust me!

“kissing cousins”

A big thank you goes out to the next people they are old friends of mine who let me hitch a ride with them to the beach so I could enjoy that friday of freedom in the sun with out constantly worrying if one of my kids have been swallowed by a wave or eaten by a shark. You know the feeling, you shut your eyes for a second then wake up in a panic only seconds later…
on a side note this is the best 4 hour ride in the car I have ever had with 3 kids (especially my own)

Look how sweet! I am so tempted to post her crying picture toward the end of the session. In her defense her baby brother pulled a handfull of her hair out.
