    Scott & Jennifer: Engaged

    March 8th, 2010 | Engagement, Family Portraits, Louisiana Children's Photographer, Louisiana Engagement photographer, Louisiana Wedding Photographer

    Jennifer called me to schedule Bridal portraits. They are getting married in Cabo but wanted some images to put up at the reception they are planning for back home. I suggested doing an engagement/bridal/family shoot. They loved the idea, we had originally planned to shoot at a different location and we changed at the last minute. They were up for anything and I sooooo love that! I drug them into a somewhat shady laundromat, then made them climb about 15 feet off the ground onto an old crane and despite Jennifer’s fear of heights they climbed. They Rock!! And to top it off they have the most adorable little girl! I had a hard time choosing what to share. I cannot wait for the wedding so I can share her bridals. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Anyway here they are!

    An Engagement : Louisiana Engagement Photography

    January 31st, 2010 | Louisiana Engagement photographer, Wedding

    I love it when couples are so in love and up to anything. With this crazy weather we had to reschedule their appointment, but thankfully we were able to shoot on one of those beautiful days where the temperature was around 60-70 degrees.

    The image to the right is my FAVORITE! The most beautiful light ever! If I could only shoot in one condition the rest of my life it would be in this light.

    When I asked them what their favorite things to do were, one of the things he said was that he like to play basketball… Soooo I had to do a little test to see just how high he could jump :)

    Fun on The Farm: { Louisiana Engagement Portraits }

    These two were SOOOO cute, we did the photoshoot at one of my client turned friend’s house. (Thanks Claire!) The entire shoot we joked about how I was going to put them in the chicken coop! Well lets just say i did, they were troopers, even held a chicken! Sometimes I just make people do things for fun….. mostly my fun :)

    Anyway, I cannot wait for their wedding in November. I know it is going to be great. They are such a great couple! I loved so many of their pictures but I had to refrain myself and only post these few

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. As a matter of fact I couldn’t decide weather to post it this way or in color, but since it is 1am and I couldn’t ask Hank’s opinion, I picked this one!

    I brought them over the pear tree to take some photos and she got very excited, bc there is a pear theme at thier wedding!

    How cute are they. “The perfect Pear….I mean Pair”  ( I cannot take credit for “The perfect pear” she told me a little secret about it)

    Veronica & Adam: New Orleans Engagement Photographer

    July 23rd, 2009 | Engagement, Louisiana Engagement photographer, New Orleans, Wedding

    I am in love with this session. This bride found me on Facebook, oh how I love facebook :) A great marketing tool and a way to keep up with old friends!

    Anyway….. This is how I know when I have a good bride. I called her (and mind you I had never met her in person) the day of her session to let her know that I was in New Orleans and we were talking about where we would meet and I asked her how she felt about trespassing. I know what you are thinking, No you didn’t, but YES I did. Earlier that day I had found a lovely abandon building in the warehouse district. And she said okay. I love people who are up for anything like me. Don’t worry we didn’t get into any trouble, and the gate was open! We drove around New Orleans hopping in and out of the car shooting their engagement photos. We had a great time! I can’t wait for the wedding.

    Here they are! (I apologize in advance for the long post)

    I always like to get a few alone pictures. I think everyone should have pictures of themselves at every age
