Avery { Louisiana Senior Portraits }

February 16th, 2017 | Senior

I have spent the last 3 summers with this girl at Camp Highlander. She is so much fun! Last summer we spent an afternoon taking some of her Senior Portraits at camp. We had such a great time, picking flowers for her flower crown, skipping through the river and laughing way too much! We got to repeat that (minus the flowers and river) a couple weeks ago in the French Quarter. I won’t bore you with more words, I’ll just let you see her beautiful face!

Cage was nice enough to show me around his favorite hangout.  We had a great time exploring some wide open spaces in the country.
The picture to the left is just proof that I am hilarious 🙂

This may or may not be borderline cheesy, I am not in the loop sometimes, but I made him do it. Hopefully he doesn’t find it embarrassing.  Senior portrait photography Louisiana

When I was in high school my school participated in a competition at ORU. You had to enter into a few categories to be able to go. One of the ones I entered was B&W portrait. I took a film camera and tried it out on  my baby sister, she was less than thrilled and her “ticked off” look won me 1st place! I would say that this was my first try at being a photographer, but that wouldn’t be true, there are tons of photos of our pet cats posed with pillows and balloons etc. But that is for another post.

Here is a picture of me with my winning picture and ribbon circa 199something. I wanted to take a picture of the actual photo but I couldn’t find it.

well here she is 15-16 yrs later. And this is the infamous vintage yellow dress! I borrowed it from time warp but during the photoshoot. I kindof messed it up a bit and had to buy it, sooooo if anyone wants to use it for a shoot, let me know. It is about a size 2-4 (i think).

Now don’t get to creeped out, but here she is with the snake that is currently residing with us.

She looks like such a model here, but I am used to her in her nike shorts and a ponytail laughing like this… (she is probably going to kill me for posting this picture)
